40th employment anniversary

ANNIVERSARY FOR RAINER HÜSTEN: 40 YEARS AT WIAG ANTRIEBSTECHNIK GMBH

This month, Rainer Hüsten from our CNC department is celebrating his 40th anniversary as an employee.

Our jubilarian began his career at WIAG in 1985 as a CNC lathe operator. “Originally only intended as a temporary solution and now it's been a whole four decades,” is how our colleague describes his WIAG journey as one of the longest-serving.

It quickly became clear that Rainer Hüsten's commitment was a valuable asset to our team. He still works in the CNC department today, where he is responsible for work preparation, such as setting up and programming the machines. 

In addition to his technical expertise, he has also been championing the interests of the workforce as the 1st Chairman of the Works Council since 08/2024. A true example of commitment and loyalty!
