With the very clear aim of monitoring and ensuring both your and our quality standards, here at WIAG Antriebstechnik we have a department manned by three members of staff committed to safeguarding the excellence of our products. They are constantly updated so as to be in tune with applicable guidelines and they also undergo regular training in this field. Our company is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
Our quality management system guarantees consistently high levels regarding the quality and precision of all the manufactured components and assembly units. Comprehensive checks, meticulous testing and constant measuring are factors which together form the bedrock of WIAG Antriebstechnik's quality philosophy.
We have ultra-modern machinery and cutting-edge measuring technology at our fingertips so that we are always well-armed to ensure supreme quality.
Measuring instruments such as the Klingelnberg P 40 for checking toothed gearing systems with a diameter of up to 400 mm and a Wenzel LH 87 for those with diameters up to 800 mm are at our disposal. With the module toothed gears, it is usual for the profile parameters, tooth flank lines, pitches and the concentricity to be measured and then appropriately documented.
The Wenzel LH 87 fully automatic 3-D portal coordinate measuring machine makes it possible to determine any and every kind of dimension in the relevant axes. The dimensions of components that can be measured in this way are 800 x 1500 x 600 mm. In addition, we also have diverse manually operated measuring equipment such as a Mitutojo coordinate measuring machine, surface measuring instruments and hardness testing devices. Checks for grind burn are also run in our workshops.
Our quality monitoring is basically divided up into inspections during production and then a final outgoing goods inspection, which, if so wished, can also include the initial sample test report for new parts. Quality management is also responsible for checks on incoming goods and for the organising of supplier audits. The monitoring of inspection equipment is carried out internally and externally.
Bespoke test specifications are implemented following consultation and then included in our quality assurance system. Continual updating and upgrading of our quality processes by way of external and internal audits guarantee constant first-class quality - today and at all times in the future.
